A Wildflower Woman

“She didn’t fit in with the regular crowd” . Such a spiritual poem , very like Wordsworth’s lovely lyric “She dwelt among the untrodden Ways.”

She didn’t fit in with the regular crowd

ones that painted their nails and faces

Her hands were busy creating natural beauty

A wildflower blooming in a private oasis

Though not often seen by the populace

She secretly flourished under creation’s care

not showered with worldly waters on cue

While the others rushed about around her

living the daily grind of grab and gain

She delighted in an alpine simplicity

A wildflower at peace without a ball and chain.
